Experienced Software Engineer, always keen in learning new technologies and improving her skills, currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Unitary Ltd. Sissy has worked as a researcher at NCSR Demokritos in the areas of Deep Learning and e-infrastructures, contributing to multiple projects such as the development of an argument mining system and the implementation of an e-science platform to hide infrastructure complexity and enable domain scietistis to execute data-intensive experiments. Moreover, she has demonstrated experience as a Backend Software Engineer in the industry, building web services and RESTful APIs on distributed / cloud-based environments on various domains such as dialog management systems, FinTech etc. Regarding her academic qualifications, she holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning / Natural Language Processing from the University of Athens and a B.Sc. in Management Science and Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

The DARE platform provides all the necessary tools to research developers to develop and execute their experiments written using either the fine-grained workflow specification library dispel4py or CWL. Moreover, the DARE platform offers data provenance to the users so as to track and analyze their data. The DARE platform is cloud-ready, integrating containerized software applications running on top of Kubernetes. Kubernetes enables automated deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications. Research developers can interact with the DARE platform by making use of its RESTful API. DARE API is a composition of RESTful Web APIs exposed by the containerized versions of the underlying DARE platform components.
